I like it! Is this a custom or a stock offering from Hot Wheels? |

It was stock item from HW. Found it on Ebay, I believe there was another in the series, but all painted up with decals etc. Only picked this one up as I thought it fitted with my diorama. Wasn't keen on the other one, like you I like the beater look. |

Thanks for the info! I tend to stick to 1/64 (though I do make rare exceptions) due to budget and space concerns- so there's a whole world of 1/43 pieces that have escaped my attention previously. |

Oddly enough I'm finding the same with the 1/64 world. Always passed them by as toys, but you guys have opened my eyes (and wallet!!) to whole new world. I have maybe 50 - 60 HW, JL & Matchbox @ 1/64, but all are still MIB or on card. Tempted to open them,(still debating) as a 1/64 diorama wouldn't take up much space. Least that's what I'm telling the wife!! |

I use a program called IrfanView (it's free, like most of the programs I use). It's simple to use, and it's free. I just like saying that last part. ![]() http://www.irfanview.com/ |

To be honest I have probably got all I can in standard F 100's in 1/43, apart from Durham and some of the other very expensive ones, so the 1/64 stuff is starting to look interesting. Been tempted by a lot of the HW & JL stuff guys have posted in these forums, must make a point of taking a closer look next time I'm at the store. love those Willy's gassers. |

I really like that last one in particular. I have a weakness for blue cars and well, its also a Willys and I love all the defunct manufacturers. While I'm not a huge fan of gassers that one isn't overstated. It looks perfect. |
