Now that I have two Panameras, we can compare the Greenlight version to the Matchbox.![]() Greenlight ![]() Matchbox ![]() The Greenlight is definitely bigger, and somehow feels to be the appropriate length in scale. Greenlight uses a gloss black finish while Matchbox uses a metal flake green. The windows are another interesting detail, with the B pillar being see through on Matchbox, and nicely flush and tampoed on the Greenlight. ![]() Jeweled lights versus a cartoon style tampo. Matchbox has a deeper cowl in the front. ![]() Jeweled lights again, and a tampoed detail on the window. Separate exhaust inserts make the rear even more detailed. ![]() Factory style rims, and a lower stance, Greenlight also has rubber on these wheels. ![]() Surprisingly no sunroof on one, but definitely nicer mirrors. We can see the scale difference and proportion difference here. What do you think? |

From the top, the MBX almost looks like a Citroen DS... |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

GreenLight....in a curbstomp. Putting it up against the Matchbox is like taking a tank to a fistfight. |

The MB has merit for the price but the GL easily is a better model all the way around. |

How does the GL compare to the Maisto? I think Dean did a comp a while back and the MBX still lost. |

The High Speed kicks butt on the Matchbox (too small and skinny), the Maisto (no interior, less refined casting lines and paint), and the Siku (too darn big). For anyone who only collects one casting of a car, the High Speed, oh excuse me, Greenlight, is the one to get. I'm sure later color releases will be even sweeter. |

Thank you NoirGuru for the pictures and comparison. I know which casting that I am going to track down to add to my collection. Great images. Cheers. Cobra |
