The Mad Documenter!
No interest here, I prefer factory stock. I've also met the man and was not impressed.

I hope this is a third line, and won't be taking tooling dollars away from the Auto-Thentics and Detroit Muscle lines.

Ugh. I can't stand what he does to perfectly good cars. The question I have is as follows- does this mean M2 is breaking their unofficial policy of 'nothing newer than 1971' going forward?

I like the series Overhaulin. I would love to see some of those cars in diecast. He can come to my house and pretend to steal my Firebird only to fix it up for me.......lol

I hope they keep it true to scale and don't get big like last time, I like his restorations and can leave his customs on the pegs.

Almost all of these cars look better in the before pictures. I make exceptions for the '68 Camaro and '65 Mustang, even if the rims are way too blingy on those two, the rest is quite nice.

And as such, I am not real excited about this new line.

I am not sure I would call this good news. Not a Foose fan and was not impressed with the last diecast offerings in his name. I would hope M2 would make this more a separate series and not ruin the Authenics or the Muscle Machine series. I realize there is much cost involved in making diecast models and companies seek ways to recover and make the best use of tooling, etc. - so simply hoping that M2 will stay the course and we will still get our nice Authenic models as we have in the past.

I'll probably do what I usually do - grab a few I like and leave the rest. But I too hope that the castings won't turn out to be ridiculously large again.

My sincere hope is that M2 doesn't waste casting dollars tooling up one of a kind show cars and instead focuses on utilizing existing castings that Foose has worked on. It still means casting those horrible rims. UGH.

Somehow I missed this thread. But I've expressed my feelings about Foose in the past. I'm aligned with most of the Garage here.

I'm hoping the lack of news perhaps means the project has been scrapped. Maybe even due to poor reception from collectors, although I suspect if it is canned, it would be more related to a license disagreement between M2 and Foose.
