Junkers for the salvage yard

I found these babies on our recent trip to Bisbee Arizona. They were in a bin of death in the creepy back corner of a basement at my favorite antique store.

This is the second Golf I've found in this condition. My first one has the hatch door and front license plate. This newest addition has neither.

Somehow these look riverwashed in a way, and that Golf is notorious for being found in that condition.

Thats why I like to pick old beaters for alittle of nothing because the action those cars see. You know they were well loved by a youngster. I would have picked the same ones up too. Great finds!
