Greenlight vs. Matchbox
Mini Convertible

Left = Greenlight & Right = Matchbox

The MBX is definitely bigger, checking in @ 1:58, while the GL is much smaller. (I'm not a good judge of scale; I need to be told.)

*Both castings look great in yellow with black interior.

*The GL has a real steering wheel with a column; MBX has a cast steering wheel and no column. (No pics...sorry. My photography skills are not that great so the pics were blurry and not worthy of sharing)

*The rear seats on the GL have separate headrests; MBX has molded headrests but only a parcel shelf. (again no pics...see comment above)

*The GL has plastic inserts for headlights and taillights; MBX has tampos all around.

*Both have side mirrors as part of the body.
*Both have turn signal repeaters on the front fenders, but the GL has them painted; MBX just has bumps where the repeaters are.

Overall the level of detail is much better on the GL...for the money I would expect that. However, I still prefer the MBX.

Your thoughts?

Support your local demo derby.

For the money, it's hard to go wrong with the MB. I prefer the GL/High Speed casting myself.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
GreenLight dominates this one, except for the wheels. I'm sure they're accurate but they look horrible...

I vote for the GL here. Like the plastic inserts for the lights over the tampos.

The proportions on the GL are wacko. The Mini looks quirky, and those side mirrors jut out way too far.

I believe Matchbox's 1/64 experience is shown here.

The GL one looks better. However, you get more for your money for the $1 matchbox.
