Decent looking car but like most JL American Graffiti cars not a very good rendition of the actual car.

RL I was disturbed by the front bumper so I painted it black. Not sure if I am going to leave it that way. My wife says back in the day they had these so call devices installed for dirty racing maybe? So it's actually not a bumper?

The casting JL used was the same one they used for Tom Daniel's Bad Man. That's one reason it's incorrect.
Here is a picture of the original Badman model:

Never mind the JL casting, what is the guy doing with his hands in his pockets?
Pocket pool?
Blue ball left hand pocket and pink ball right hand pocket!

I remember seeing pics of the Badman version. The only version of this casting I have is the BWF. I bought it loose, but believe it was part of a dio called "The Point."

Maybe I'm in the minority on this one, but I kinda like it. I know it's Daniels' Bad Man, and seriously...I'm OK with that. I like the way it turned out. Granted, for accuracy, the Revell American Graffiti set is much better. But the JL cars are what they are, and for the most part are pretty decent...the one exception is the yellow coupe. Not sure what they were thinking with the choice of front wheels, but that threw the whole car off. Had they chosen better wheels just on the front, it would have been as nice as any of the rest in that series. The black Bad Man looks good in that color...just forget about it being associated with Amer. Graf.

*TOM* Daniels, is the guy that designed the Bad Man for Monogram way back when.

It's nice that you, Daniel, have one...I'm happy for you, I think they are cool even though some people don't like them because they are not accurate to the movie.

Be prepared. Those don't go real cheap.

I have the ones with the figures also. Some of them I had signed by the stars from the movie.
