This belonged to my wife when she was a little girl. Has all of the major pecies for the track ans stands. few guard rail pieces missing. I put it together when I got it home about 10 years ago. Even ran a car on it. without the guard rails the car came off the track.

Support your local demo derby.

That would be pretty cool to see put together and actually run a car on. Swifty ran the racing at Lightning Fest this year and it was pretty cool racing action.

They are fun as all get out to play with, but they will tear up any car that goes on it. Good thing the repops are cheap and should work just fine. Have fun, but yes you will need to install the guards to keep the cars on the track to make it work properly.

Even with guard rails we still had cars flying 10 feet off the track.

Johnny Lightning's own Tom Z. managed to launch a car 20 feet...into a door. I wish we had had a trophy for "Bo Duke Award for Biggest Air" (maybe next time!) because that was simply awesome!

The Mad Documenter!
That looks like it was a lot of fun...I wonder if anybody has any videos of it in use on YouTube? When we had a local slot car track, I sent my car flying through the air a few times...bent the chassis nearly in half once, it landed so hard. Bent it back by hand and put it right back on the track.

I never was a fan of using the brakes, or even letting up off the gas. Wish we still had a track...

That's the original ad for it from the 1970s. We were using the reproduction (oval) track that Playing Mantis put out in the 1990s.
