It's the influence of the generation I grew up in, but my favorites are the black IROC, and the dark maroon '77 (or whatever year it actually is), are my favorites, in that order. |

Same, actually. And we're almost the same age so it stands to reason that explains my bias as well. On a side note, Tom Z. mentioned on the blog that the 3rd generation casting is due to be replaced. Apparently the existing tool is too heavy to be profitable at the current time so a newer version will need to be done. Between that and the new Hot Wheels '85 IROC in the '12 mainline the 3rd generation is getting a lot of love lately. |

I have a LOT of first generation JL Camaro castings in my collection but just haven't photographed them. My favourites are the 1967 and 1968 camaros. And I do like the retooled by Mac Ragan JL 1969 Camaro coupe. Thanks Jeff for the images of a favourite JL series. Cheers. Cobra |
