Yes. :thumbup: There were two different '82 Supras in two different Sto & Gos. The other is the same color as the teal Ferrari 308 seen directly below it, and was available in that set (as was a similarly teal-painted BMW M1).

It looks like an old Matchbox casting- they did a line of 1/36 or so race cars in the '80s and a very similar Camaro was among them (as was a Zakspeed Fox Mustang, a Chevelle stock car, a Ferrari GTO, Lancia 037, and more). This was probably done after Mattel bought Matchbox and had the tooling available.

I didn't know the source, but I had one pass through my hands a while back...it's about 1/43 scale, about MBX Kings size or so, so that would make sense. Like they did with the Corgi jr castings, probably used up what was already available to get it out to market before consolidating the line.
