Ok guys has anyone else purchased the 77 monaco derby car that had the centerline rims instead of the slotted mag ones? I have provided a pic of both rims. Tom Z orginaly was going to use the centerline rims on this car but I talked him into the mag instead. I just purchased the monaco with the centerline rims of TheToyPeddler.com, and its a WL. I own the prototype for this car that Tom Z gave me and it has the centerline rims and is a WL as well. I am surprised to see another production car that has the same rims as the orginal sample as well as a winshield which my prototype doesnt. Guy said he bought it in a lot of loose WL's he bought. poor guy didnt know what he had when he sold it to me for $14 shipped LOL.

Anyone else have a monaco with the centerline rims LOL

Looks from your picture that the 4-spoke wheels used on the "Ace Cab" version of the Monaco would be a better fit.

my prototype I got from Tom has the windsheild in it and his initals on it so maybe their was more than one prototype? Tom said when he sent me mine that they didnt give out prototypes too often. Oh well if it is I have two now LOL

Mine has slots and I tried to steal the rims but could only get off two. I was going to put them on a white mustang and see what she would look like. Every car of mine is experimented with sometimes they just go back on at a later date. I took my Toy Fair Super Bee and put those tires on my recent fairlane.
