I put my money on Christine. I saw that a bulldozer actually ran over one of the stunt cars and the car still cranked right up. They tried to trash it several times and the car still started. I would be alittle concerned if I was one of those guys that did the damage to that car. |

I had always hoped that Stephen King would write a sequel to "Christine" starring the minivan that ran him over in 1999. If memory serves me it was an '80s Caravan/Voyager though the Wikipedia article lacks that information. With the way the movie ends (with Christine crushed into a cube, but with the grill moving indicating it could possibly still repair itself) it leaves the possibility that the car would be recycled into something else before she could reassembled herself. Now, since the original novel takes place in the 1970s but the movie takes place in the early '80s it doesn't take much imagination to think it could easily be recycled into a then new Chrysler minivan. |

The van hit him, it did run him completely over. I too forget what model the van was, but I do know King later bought the van after the incident was said and done and beat it up heavily with a sledge hammer. |

Got to agree with JustDavid, It took a pair of bulldozers to detune Kowalski's Challenger and that didn't have the '58 self repair option from Plymouth, so what chance has one measely John Deere against a '58 Fury. Anyone who would buy the car that ran over him and beat on it with a sledge has serious issues. I would have thought that it would be more productive to beat on the driver of said Minivan, unless that is, the Minivan had that '58 option from plymouth. |
