This is my latest 63 Ford Galaxie casting... It resembles one my grandma owned... Thanks to Daniel60, I discovered this Coke car and purchased it... Had a heck of a time removing the Coke tampoos though... My family had 4 1963 Ford Galaxies at one time and I am trying to collect replicas of them all... One I had to customize one a little so far, but got it right... I still need a 4th one that was a maroon colored of my father's... ![]() Here's another one in my collection... This version I customized to resemble my uncles... It had a 427 dual 4 bbl set up with a 4 speed tranny and would fly !!! ![]() Here is how I customized it to look, by adding the steelies with the baby moons, and paintting the interior red !!! ![]() This is just another variation I added to my collection just because I liked it !!! ![]() Another uncle had a white one, so I purchased two of this one and detampooed one !!! ![]() ![]() Here's two more I'm going after soon !!! ![]() ![]() I still need a maroon one with a whie top to match my fathers !!! I too is a fan of this casting. Great job on the customized ones. I still need to get the white one, the red one from the gold series and the BTH one but those cars seem to be hard to get a hold of. Good luck with your quest Steve. |

I'm after those last two from the 2.0 line as well Steve. If we're tallying up a top 5 list for JLs, the '63 Galaxie makes the cut. ![]() ![]() |

I'm bidding on the tan one now. Steve how easy was it to remove that race car decals? I like to try that too. I love that gold interior. Great stuff man!! Love the Galaxie. I have few myself but need plenty more of them. |
