In the early days of Stock Car Minatures they decided they should have a pace car to lead the pack. They offered the stock dark red MB Ford Thunderbird with a set of decals for an SCM Pace Car. A simple conversion and it really doesn't look all that bad. SCM models came at a time when there wasn't a whole lot out there for NASCAR in 1/64th and most collectors simply enjoyed the fact that they could now have a few NASCAR pieces in their collections. ![]() ![]() ![]()
