Very nice - normally I would say that would be a familar scene here in ND in February but we are having our driest and warmest winter probably on record. Today it was 45 degrees above zero (not the usual negative numbers we often see this time of year.) The forecast for the next five days states - "Snow Drought Contines".

While I'm sure that is a blessing of sorts, I can't help but wonder what the water tables are going to be like 6 months from now... And Eastern Europe is buried in snow...literally. |

About 3 inches on the ground here now. While I don't like snow in general because it makes a mess of everything I do love the late starts at work. Also it was my first real chance to see how the LaCrosse handles the snow since I bought it. |

Great pics! I love seeing snowplows (and shovels) actually working. ![]() We got a little snow the past week. A dusting on both Thursday and Saturday. And they salted for it...heavily. Other years they wouldn't have bothered wasting salt on something like this, but this year has had only two measurable snowfalls (and one of those- the big one at that, was in October!) so they've probably got a bit of a surplus. |
