Well, we are a few days away from the 2012 Keystone Diecast CARnival and I think it is time to reveal the featured models for this year which both come to us by Greenlight.

Ooops. I posted the same pic 2 times and left one out. The original post is now updated to show better shots of the cars.

They look great

I figured something was a bit off with the same two pics, but also thought maybe you wanted to keep the tampos a secret.

Sean, those event cars look great! Seeing them gets me even more excited about getting to CARnival! Hoping to get out of work a little early this afternoon so I can get everything packed and ready to go. Friday morning, I want to be able to just hop in the car and head out! I don't know how well I'm going to sleep tonight!

Ditto on the sleep thing. I never do well when I have to be off early in the morning, but this is worse than being a kid on Christmas. Packing up today as well.

But it ruins the surprise of seeing them in hand for the first time at the show. In this day and age where show exclusives are leaked months in advance, I like to keep at least something a mystery until the day of the dinner. ;) And now I have nothing. :P

Sorry, no BWF. There's not even a Mopar
We do have a very limited number of choices to work with each year, so we must make do with what we choose. As usual, Nick did an outstanding job on the design, and even though they're both GM Products, I think they're fitting additions to CARnival event cars.

I think the castings they used for this year are great. Granted I am not going to be there but I bet they look nice especially with Nick's handy work. You guys have fun! :ok:
