It looks like they forgot to put the screw in- should be pretty easy to fix, just use one of the screws holding it to the base- I'm almost sure they fit. Have not tried it though.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I've never seen one like that on the pegs, but I'd probably pick it up and ask for a discount at the register for the damaged merchandise. If the paint's intact, assemble and a nice new addition to my collection! If the paint is scuffed from rubbing around the blister, into the junkyard it goes.

The Mercury Turnpike Cruiser I found and bought had a broken off screw up front. May have been overtightened and broke off during shipment. If you take it out of the package, let us know if it's just missing, stripped, or broken. Mine will be heck to fix, as the stub is still up in the body .
