The All Original Gentleman
|
1) 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Attending any car show now a days you would get the impression that all 1965 Mustang fastback where either GT cars with Hi-Po engines or a Shelby GT350 track car. Not so, the majority where built much of what we have here. This 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback is painted Vintage Burgundy metallic with black interior. This little pony has the base 289 V8 for motivation. The rolling stock consist of rare vintage radar wheels with double red line tires. 2) 1966 Chevrolet Corvette 427 There's not many things cooler in the world than a 427 cubic inch Corvette. This example is wearing Trophy Blue metallic paint with black interior. Double check the interior and lay your eyes on the ultra rare head rest option for '66. The 427 Corvette has the optional side pipes or road exhaust if you will. Other options are the chrome "knock-off" wheels with gold line tires. This Vette is ready for a car show, the track, or maybe both. 3) 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7G *NEW CASTING* Boy how times have changed, mentioning "cougar" takes on a whole new meaning today. Back in 1968 it meant Mercury's sister car to the Ford Mustang. This beautiful black with black vinyl top example is a 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7G. It sports a very rare factory sun roof, special hood and factory fog lights up front. Power is provided by the new for 1968 302 V8. Handling this new power plant are Goodyear Poly Glas tires wrapped around the rare recalled Radir wheels. 4) 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS *NEW CASTING* Hugger Orange just might be the most popular color on a 1969 Camaro, they just look so good this color. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS is Hugger Orange with White Z/28 stripes. Options include the black interior, cowl induction hood, rear spoiler, rear bumper with bumper guards, RS grill in the open position and RS tail lights. The high revving 302 engine sends the power to the Chevrolet rally wheels and Goodyear Poly Glas tires. 5) 1971 Plymouth Cuda 340 Not all 1971 Plymouth Cuda's came equipped with the billboard stripe from the factory. Some drivers wanted to be a little more discreet about letting the world know which engine was lurking under the hood. This 1971 Plymouth Cuda 340 is dipped in Sassy-Grass Green with black bucket seat interior. The Cuda's list of options read as; 340 cubic inch V8, performance hood, rear spoiler, ralley wheels and Goodyear Polyglas tires. 6) 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee 383 1971 was the last year for the Dodge Super Bee, it was now an option in the Charger line. This Bright Blue 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee with black vinyl top is the last of the breed. From the black bucket seat & console interior to the body colored front and rear bumpers, this bee is a real beauty. Providing the power is the 383 cubic inch engine. The wheels consist of steel wheels with poverty caps and Goodyear Polyglas tires. CHASE CAR - 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS Black is a beautiful color on a 1969 Camaro, they look so good this color. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS is Black & Gold with White Z/28 stripes. Options include the gold interior, cowl induction hood, rear spoiler, rear bumper with bumper guards, RS grill in the open position and RS tail lights. The high revving 302 engine sends the power to the gold Chevrolet rally wheels and Goodyear Polyglas tires. Since this is a chase car the trim, bumpers and wheels are now gold. Good luck! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

Detroit Muscle and Auto-Thentics just keep getting better. There's absolutely no weak car in this assortment. I see six home runs!

Muscle Car
|
In the world of diecast classic muscle cars, where it is more of the same "been there, done that," I am amazed *and appreciative* that M2 finds ways to add small details that make their offerings stand out from the crowd. On the surface, none of these are earth-shaking...Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, Cougar, Cuda, Charger. Based on the line-up, I should be rolling my eyes at over-saturation of such nameplates. But on the contrary, I am quite excited about getting each and every one of these, based on the little details that set them apart. Thanks M2! |

The Mad Documenter!
|
Nothing overly spectacular stands out to me here...I will probably get the Mustang and Corvette. The Corvette looks great in Nassau Blue, too. Of course, I've been known to say I wasn't going to get something, and then having it end up in my hands in a shopping cart, the first time I see it, too
