I found these 3in models in a little souvenir store down on the NSW South Coast - I have not seen these before. All have opening doors, pull back action but no maker on the base - just "Made in China" and a "900" number.

Anyone have an idea who made these:

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - 903 - check out the "Jeep" script on the back!

Range Rover - 904

Bugatti Veyron - 901

Ferrari 360 - 902

Audi R8 - 906

BMW X6 - 905

This is how they were offered for sale:

I've got no idea, but that is definitely an F430 and not a 360. The Jeep is too funny!

For once, that is a completely new brand to me. The X6 in particular looks pretty well done.

How is the fit and finish?

Thanks - an F430 it is, correction noticed.

The fit and finish is pretty good actually though I did pay over the odds for these - tourist shop prices, as it were. $ 4.50 (the price of two regular HWs / MBX locally)

They all look like decent castings although the detailing and wheels look a bit iffy on some.

As soon as I saw the Range Rover I thought 'High Speed' but I know it isn't.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Add me to the list of folks who've never seen these before either. Very nice group of cars and I hope we get an answer to the mystery!

These are really good for unlicensed rip-offs. Really good. The upside down "ee" in Jeep is surely a way of defending themselves from copyright infringement. Also, with the large script on the rear, and other details, the Jeep is supposed to be the Rescue Concept, which was tweaked a bit before it became the production Wrangler Unlimited. I am also digging the "Racer Rally" in place of "Range Rover."

Next time you see these, ask if you can check the back and sides of the display box for any hints at a maker. If you did already, and there's nothing there, it actually wouldn't surprise me based on the pretty precise replica sans actual licensing, leading to a situation where the maker does wish to remain anonymous so it cannot be named in a lawsuit.

Bottom line: lucky you to have found these! I love the SUVs in all colors, and would find a place in my collection for at least one color variation of each car casting, too.

As I just posted in another thread devoted to the same diecast line ( http://swiftysgarage.net/single/?p=8328479&t=7296445 ), I can confirm that the brand is Dream Become True. Thanks to Diecastdingo's photo above of the box I started a Google Image search and I found more products wih exactly the same brand name and logo... here you have one as an example:

Here you have a zoom in centered in the trade-marked logo...

Please note: I'm duplicating this information into this thread to ease identification of the brand for people finding this thread page and not the newer one. If admins consider it is better not to have the same info in two threads then you can delete this post.
