I liked this casting much better before it was turned into a 4x4.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
That's a nice one- I haven't seen that variation before!

I actually like the 4x4 more though. ;) But I love monster trucks so I may be a bit biased.

i think its from one of those over priced series they did a few years.
Sean, for the 1st time i have to say"what are you thinking".to me the 4x4 looks like
a "want to be" backyard monster truck.

Having a '55 Chevy Suburban, I have collected this truck, even the <ahem> 4x4 versions, since the 55 and 56 used the same grill, just different hood and side emblem trim. I missed quite a few variations and paint schemes, though, during my "low" period in the mid-2000's when my job pay was way down, and I just didn't buy much diecast then. It's a nice truck alright. I just won't pay 4 or 5 bucks for it in a so-called "Premium" series, when the only difference is the paint and package, not the diecast quality.

I only gave a $1.00 for it at a diecast show and yes the full retail price for this series was a bit steep which is why I waited to buy it until I could get it for my price.
