The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
That is soooooo ugly it's perfect. Seriously, these trucks are always brightly colored and gaudy.

Totally awesome concept of designing the step van as a roach-coach burrito-truck, but completely nauseating execution. I am still upset at the switch to plastic body, not so much because I have anything against plastic, but because the unpainted plastic Matchbox uses, really looks like cheap plastic. A coat of paint can do wonders for a plastic body (I call out Majorette Deluxe, Novacar and Supreme as prime examples). Add to the plastic those gaudy tampos, and they've killed what would have been a really novel vehicle.

Thank you for showing it up close. I am drawn in by the effort shown on the menu and the vented panel-access doors on the right side. Cool details that deserve to be on a better executed example.

my pics dont do it total justice. it definitely has a gloss finish to it. Maybe it will grow on you when you see it in person

In all fairness, your pictures look great....I am judging the cheap plastic based on previous releases that I have. Time will tell....I really like the concept and the little details, so it may just end up coming home with me.... I just think I could have done so much better, if I were in charge of the design. :02:

Thank you so much for posting these pictures!

I am terribly excited to find one, for food trucks are extremely popular in my city!
