The blacked out wheels on the Vega and Maverick improve the looks dramatically. |

Oh thank you. I have a few more that I've got to get posted, and some shots of the Vega with the front axle actually staying in place and not looking like I just nailed the brakes. |

Great work! I'm really liking the Goodyears on the Maverick, BMW, and Skyline! But the FTEs look out of place on the Yat Ming BMW. |

These are all so nice. Each and every wheel choice you've made on these just works so well. I'm glad to see someone else using the black rims with the white letter tires too Thanks for sharing your great photo's |

It's not epoxied yet, so those are just temporary. I just really dislike how cheap the Yat Ming wheels looked and haven't found gold or chrome lace wheels with the right axle length. |

You should see the bin of dismembered Studebakers. I'm glad you like the wheels. I wish I could get some better interior shots on the Vega and 2002tii, since they both have the stock interiors swapped for one seater, caged race-prepped interiors. The Maverick, 308 and a few others have the interior detailed and the Challenger has a caged, but otherwise stock interior. Everything with a cage has it painted too. I haven't even seen the Celica yet and you've got one customized- awesome! On a side note, the new rims on the Bimmer are much better. Looks perfect now! |

Luckily Mattel decided to ship some 2013s earlier to Wal-Marts around here so I was able to score one. Glad I decided to run to Wal-Mart on my lunch break. The one advantage of working overnights is that I get to raid the shelves while they're being filled. I don't think I had the Celica for more than 4-5 hours before the chassis was in bleach and the body was finished being detailed. Glad you like the Bimmer, it's hard to find suitable axles, my mug o' wheels is lacking in shorter axles so wheelswaps on my Yat Mings have been a bit tricky. Thank you also be77bt.

I'm glad you like them. I think I need to get some pictures of my rather large pile of Studebakers I've cannibalized for my old school rice, corn and kraut rockets. |

I know exactly what you mean- and the wheels themselves have to be small or they won't fit the wheelwells. I find that Tomicas, Yat Mings, early Zylmexes, and most Playarts all suffer from the same problem. Unless you swap among these brands you need to stock up on this one: http://texashwcollectors.org/hwguide/images/2007/2007_033.jpg The plus side is two donors gets you three sets of wheels! |
