Found a new wheel variation

Went to LM yesterday and ended up picking 3 Matchboxes and 1 Hot Wheels, which I will show later. But first I want to show you a wheel vary on the 2011 Desert Endurance Road Tripper. The normal one has eight cog wheels, the one I found had crown rims. I don't know if this is a known vary but thought I would show you. Here are the pics :-

Also, I have changed my username from Renesis to Black Wind (because that is my original username on NFSCars.net). Admin (whoever it was), thank you for approving this request.

That's a cool wheel variation find. I do enjoy wheel variations, but this is one of the castings I have decided not to pursue.

That was me. Sorry for the delay on getting it approved! I didn't see it until last night.

Much like Dean, I have decided not to pursue this particular casting. I find the wheel variation interesting because it makes me wonder if there's a problem with the tooling for the nicer eight cog wheels and that the crowns had to be substituted at the last minute, or if this is a simple matter of the assembly line running out of eight cog wheels and substituting whatever else is laying around to keep the line moving. Either way can result in some hard to find variations! Or it might be a running change to the model as production continued.

Oh no, I didn't buy it, only found it. In fact, I don't buy wheel varies, or any variation whatsoever. In fact, what I did buy, I'm sure you'll like it. Oh and thanks for approving the request.

And this is my 100th post!!! YES!!!
