There's a weekly diecast event down in Gilbert that I enjoy going to. I've become "that Tomy guy" and I take that name proudly. I have a couple of friends who are weekly participants...they always put out a big spread of cars, mostly HW, but have "connections" that will bring out gems like these.

The refrigerator truck is mint...

The Mercedes even came with the original yellow box...but what's funny to me is the difference in scale. The MBZ towers over that poor little VW.

Junky Lincoln for the salvage yard or my first attempt at a derby car and Tomy Toyota Mark X...this is why I'm that Tomy Guy.

Autozone exclusive Honda Civic (done well actually...not rice-y at all) and a Road Master Flyers Super Cars Volvo 1800S. The doors, hood, and trunk all open...it's pretty cool.

It has a screw instead of a rivet...is this normal or has the car been modified in some way?

As always, thanks for looking!

Some very excellent finds, there David! I love the Matchbox camper trailer!

The Impy screw is normal. The older cars (older wheels) are riveted, but most (if not all) of the newer wheeled models had the screw instead of a rivet. Your new Volvo is in far better condition than mine!

Those Matchboxes at the top are really really nice and shiny!

But I think I like the Road Masters Flyers Volvo the most!

That Civic is very ricey, but I can't talk much as I have almost all of the EM1 Si's

Also that C class is awesome.

Very nice scores! I'm partial to the Impy myself, but the MBX are exceptionally nice as well. Got a tickle over the comparison of the vintage Bug to the Rallye...

Support your local demo derby.

Volvo rocks! I've got a few issues of the '63 Imperial they did that had a front screw in place of a rivet. Never knew for sure if that was normal or not till reading this thread. PS:Derby the Lincoln, you'll have a blast! B)
