Was on Hobbytalk.com and saw this posted by a member and was Curious What Tom Z's thoughts on the comment are.

"Just spoke with my Tomy rep, no release dates from Oct on for JNL. Not sure if we'll see anything else until 2013."

We'll see and I'm sure Tom will tell us. He's pretty loyal to us listening to our complaints and seeing to us getting new cars when the defective one was bought LOL. He did it for me.

Forever 64 is not cancelled. A new release is actually enroute ro the USA now, amd another scheduled for Oct. this is direct info from Tomy. Then next year they plan to redo the JL lineup.

I think many of us are anxious to see how JL will look as the Tomy buy out goes into full effect. One of my biggest hopes is better distribution for both lines - JL and Tomica in retail stores. In my recent travels very few Wally Worlds were stocking JL.

You nailed it !! More distribution for us the fortunate ones and for the ones who aren't fortunate as us.

Far as distribution goes, all the resets happening in northern Virginia Wal-marts have now included JL in stores that weren't carrying before. So it looks like the WM's here are going from 50% stocking JL to 100%, or PDC ( pretty darn close ). From what I'm seeing, anyway. Since I'm in a dense urban Washington DC regional area, it makes sense to stock them here. I'm happy, as that means any WM I hit should have some.

I"m also happy to see JL back in all the WM's again. The WM's that did stock them would sell out quick. They are much easier to get when all the Wm's have them. I've had to get some of them at Hobby shops.

When our WM did reset(couple weeks ago) no space was left for JL or any M2
I even asked and had the toy manager try and order said he can't.

No, the Forever 64 is not cancelled. Walmart changes their stores and store counts each season, which is nothing new.

Not all Wal-Marts carry the same items. They have it down to an art. The only sell what sells. I was a manager there years ago. Sometimes they only set what they have. If a box of JL comes in all you have to do is scan and print a label then hang a peg and it's done. If an item sells out the peg is to be pulled as to not appear out of stock.

My Walmart dumped a case of R23 last night, in a clearance bin mixed with M2's and pocket video games. 3 weeks and still no JL pegs or SKU's. They get the BOD.
