This casting doesn't get the attention other JLs do, I think in part because it is from before the year 2000, but not by much...1998 as I recall. Hot Rod Magazine series or something, I remember Jeff explaining that there was some licensing issue as RC had the Hot Rod Mag license at the time, and RC and JL hadn't gotten married yet. It was an interesting series, but most of the castings are forgettable. This one and the crew cab Model AA Ford are the two that I remember best, I have a couple of the crew cabs loose. The Rumblur wagon and the Bumungous came from this series too, and they got runs later on as well. There were three Pro Streets, I've seen the GTO and Camaro go around again, but my favorite 67 Chevelle never was used after this series. I forget now, if there were 10 or 12 cars in all.
