What a haul! Nice variety, and some really nice castings in there! I love the red Majorette Accord - one of my all-time favorite Majorettes! And the Matchbox Xterra is one of my favorite Matchboxes, especially in the detailed Superfast releases! And speaking of Supertfast...the Superfast America series are fantastic finds, too! All around great stuff. Thanks for posting! |

Definitely a little bit of everything! Well done on your finds, that red Majorette Accord is always a nice casting. The Dodge Ram from Hot Wheels is a bit of a childhood favourite, and I've never seen it in red. I think you should take more pictures of the red/burgundy Volvo. |

Ditto! Lovin' the boxed reg wheel MBX, but the Cheetos delivery is the catch to me! Do you have any better pics of it? What is it, who made it, etc., etc., etc. It's not easy bein' Cheesy! I'm a big Chester Cheetah fan! |

As requested!! ...and despite the pics, the red Volvo really isn't that dirty or dusty... i think it just looks so much more so because the gray one is near mint and the red, obviously, is not... haha ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The Cheetos truck is made by Road Champs, but I'm not sure what year it was released.... I know Sean knows the details of that model very well... i've attached a few more pics of it... it isn't mint either, but i like that it looks like a real delivery truck that has seen some life... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

...i didn't include this one before, but it was my prize of my trip... it's not 1/64 and i didn't find it at a yard sale... i found it at an antique store in Virginia for like $20... i had never seen one before and didn't even know there was a diecast of the Lincoln Mark LT... it's 1/24 scale and after some research when i got home, i discovered that the name of the manufacturer is Evigna (never heard of them) and this diecast was apparently given to Lincoln dealerships and owners that bought the truck in 2006... mine is one that was given to an owner as it has a brass plate on the base with the VIN... apparently the dealer versions had the name of the dealership vs the VIN...![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thank you very much for the pictures, comparison and variation pictures at that! This one is on the "elusive" list. Regarding the Frito van, I have that same casting, different variation with the USPS on it I think. Let's see if I can find it. |

The 1/24 Lincoln Mark LT is one I only recently learned about, and have on my want list. Very nice score for $20. The ones I've watched on that auction site have gone for $50 or better. It comes in different colors, to match the real ones. Someday, I will get my hands on one! |

Wow! Amazing haul! The Road Champs delivery truck dates to 1991. And I still lack it in my own collection (same with the USPS version). I remember Jamesway had tons of these but I never did get any of them at the time as I was focused on cars instead of trucks. Same Jamesway had the Ertl Speed Strips. I know I passed on the Taurus a number of times because I didn't care for the whole gimmick thing. Of course, at the time I was 11 and had no clue we'd probably never get another Taurus in small scale. I'm sure the Eclipse (that I still need- I found a Taurus eventually) was among them too.As for the Lincoln- why would the owner get rid of that? Even if I wasn't into diecast I'd keep it and pass it along with the truck if/when I sold it. Unless the real one got totaled I see no reason to give up the model without the 1:1 going with it. |

The wrecked / stolen scenario is plausible, or if it were traded into a dealership, why include the model? Or, something like this.... My good friend and co-worker had a blue Toyota FJ Cruiser, and was given a matching AutoArt 1/18 model by the dealership when he took ownership. He loved the model, but after a couple of years, it got packed away, and when it came time to trade in the FJ Cruiser, the model was out-of-sight and out-of-mind. When he came across the model later on while moving, he had no more interest in it, and offered it to me. |
