My guess would be $3 to $5 for the Caravan and about $7 to $9 on the Mercury. I am no expert on MB. Just going by averages on ebay.

The Caravan still has its top...that alone should be worth a bit of something. When it comes to the details of what color base and which decals are rare or not, I get lost very quickly. I'm thinking the Merc isn't *very* common, but I do see them around with those stickers. I am guessing sometime in the transitional period, but it could be later on and that would impact on collector value too. I'll let you hold out for more learned estimates, but based on what Paul said I think I would lean to the high side for the Caravan, +/- $5, and the low side for the Merc, +/- $7, unless someone can point out something that really sets either one apart as a less common issue. (I'm thinking the Merc might be a set car, but I'm not really sure.)

I don't know the seller either...but I bookmarked several of his auctions! Prices like his make it seriously tempting, but I've got to restrain myself! Lots of carded vintage MBX as well (lots of late Lesney era stuff), and a few carded Playarts have my eye if they stay cheap.
