There were three 8 wheel Leyland Ergonomic Matchbox trucks. #10 Pipe Truck, #32 BP Tanker and #51 8 wheel Tipper. The #10 and 32 have part of their beds cast as part of the chassis. Yours is the Tipper. The hinge point on the back of the chassis must be broke off.

Because the toy has Superfast wheels, I think somebody had painted it red. Yellow would've been the original colors for #51 as it only came as a "Pointer" with the SF wheels.
