Working with the 1/24s is pretty cool... The ways to add detail is almost endless... I found this little TV set in the bottom of a scrap model parts box... Don't know where it came from, but fits right into my garage dio !!!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
That looks perfect! Gotta keep up with the game shows (or soaps or the news) while you work on the hot rod.

AMT liked adding little things like this to their kits in the 60s. The '63 Impala kit came with a Googie-styled turntable, another kit (I want to say it was the '63 Avanti or '63 Ford Galaxie 500) came with a different kind of portable TV set.

This reminds me of the tiny portable TV my parents had, for use in the motorhome on the rare times we were out somewhere where TV reception could be picked up. Even at home it got a little use; there were a few times when dad would be watching a sports game or political news show on the family TV, and I really wanted to watch a particular show, so mom would let me try and tune in my channel on the portable one. That metal antenna had to be just right even just to get a fuzzy signal! LOL
