The forums here have been really quiet! What's going on - is everyone trying to avoid me or something..... :D

But seriously, is it always this quiet on a Wednesday Night?

SPEAK TO ME!!! :P

I find that it is quiet on the boards Monday through Friday during the day, then it picks up daily in the evening.

I figured with jobs and school I would be a little slower on the week days.

*Sorry about posting this thread in the wrong Bay.

Support your local demo derby.

Most of us are working, busy or at school during the day. In the evenings the forum picks up and the weekends esp Sunday are when we post a lot. Some days the Garage is busier than others.

I'm active off and on all day and most nights. Fairly soon tho, I might be way less active: might be working some at the public radio station here (91.9 KRVM-FM), which would be office work and substitute DJing until festival season comes around, I'd help set up and staff the KRVM booth then, and hoping to get a "real" job in the healthcare central supply field too. That potentially means less Garage, but more diecasts.

During the day I work....but that doesn't stop me from lurking while I work. ;) But at night, I don a cape and become Batman! Oh, wait.... er.... I'm not Batman.

I think today was just a slow day in general. It happens.

I'm Batman.

Unfortunately, weekdays are fairly busy for me...having said that though, I do get Swiftys withdraw symptoms if I'm gone too long.

Busy week for me....I am off work, but I have storm clean-up chores and have been entertaining a visiting family member, so my Swifty's time has been cut a bit short lately.

Activity on web forums in general slows down with nice weather. Don't know about where you guys are, but it's been sweet here!

Wouldn't it be cool if we could double our memberships?

Wonder if Tom Z. would be opposed to advertising Swifty's on the back of the blister packs... Kinda like the 'other two' diecast sites.

My life has been pretty busy lately. From September through Christmas it's pretty much non-stop. Spent a week in Lake George, which left me almost no time to get on the net, other than posting pictures to my website, shortly it'll be my brother's birthday, my birthday, which will be spent meeting Richard Childress, may be able to hit the New England Concours at the Saratoga Musuem, my model club hosts it's show in mid-October, November has a few quiet weeks until Thanksgiving, and then it's Christmas!

Plus, you add in all the other stuff that I do that does not involve the internet or message boards, (not a lot, but time consuming) and I don't have a lot of time for any of my message boards.

I can't think of many better ways to spend a birthday! Enjoy and take pics!

Let him know hiring Kurt Busch would be a mistake!

Yes, not only that, but it means going back to Lake George, so it just gets even better! The only bad thing is, my brother won't be able to be there, but, we'll see him the next day and we do have video chat.

I will take pictures, and get autographs, but I don't think I'll tell him that, lol. If Kurt can keep the wheels on it, he can win in Childress equipment...and it's all just a holding pattern until the Dillon brothers advance high enough to get to Cup anyway! I've said before, Ty is going to be the first Rookie Champion of a major NASCAR touring series this year, in Trucks. Austin can do it in Busch, too.

Exactly! And he doesn't deserve that equipment because he can't keep the wheels (or fenders, bumpers, etc.) on it. ;)

You going to be down in NC for this? If you get a chance to hit up Charlotte, I hear the NASCAR Hall of Fame is actually worth the price of admission for technical minded folks moreso than the average fan, might be worth it. Also a good number of museums up here in Mooresville!

No...I wish...he's coming to the Saratoga Automobile Museum, in conjunction with the NASCAR exhibit they have until November. They also brought in Bobby Allison and Ron Hornaday, but I couldn't afford to go, and Kyle Busch just this week, which I didn't want to go for. They wanted $200 a ticket for Bobby Allison....Richard Childress is only $10 a ticket.

I'd have paid to see these two. But only if it was a no-holds barred cage match. Two go in...one comes out.

Actually, sadly, that also works for Kyle and Childress. Seriously, is there anyone in NASCAR who doesn't want to clean the clocks of one or both Busch brothers?
