Which model did the cab come from. Did you custom paint it that beautiful dark blue? It's bothering me that I can't figure this out. I have most of the M2 F-100s in my collection and I just can not match it up with any that I have. You do great work. |

its m2 f 100 in green. the green one seems to show up blue. thats why you cant figure it out. lol i dont know why it changes color in the pics. color wont matter after i dirty it up lol daniel60 i dont think you want to buy one of these. i have 3 semis and 1 ford f100 in this project so far. x $5.97 = $23.88 and im no wheres done yet. here is a pic i took last nite to see if the piggy back would work and to see if the boom was to high. from the ground the boom is 12 ft high when i get the bunks on it should drop another 6 inches. ![]() looks huge in the picture. but it really isn't. i will post a pic of a ho scale one im getting ideas from. to give you guys an idea of what it should look like. even thow the cabs are diffrent. |

Thanks, I found it. This text is from the M2 site for the Auto-Thentics R17 unit. Cameras play tricks under certain lighting conditions. 1956 Ford F-100 Truck This is one handsome looking truck. The 1956 Ford F-100 is finished in Nocturn Blue with gray interior. The grille is painted white while the bumpers are painted black. Powering this old truck is a Ford V8. The red steel rims, chrome hub caps and black wall tires round out this F-100 rather nicely. |

Stunning job and such a compelling subject. I love the blue but would also love to see the paint weathered and faded. |

he doe's fantastic work in 1/87th scale. ive seen alot of 1/87th scale logging trucks in my searches. and you can buy on line alot of the stuff needed in that scale to build one. like the cherry picker. it goes for 25 to 29 bucks thay dont make much in the 1/64th scale. thanks for the link it gave some ideas on the next one i build.

I hear ya have a B61 Cab floating around somewhere. A little massaging and you are on your way. Or there is an Ertl candidate in 1:64. They would make a great pair. Edited by Dugite, Sep 27 2012, 06:43 AM.
