Well, here's my take on all of these. The 1958 Buick Century Police looks absolutely fantastic, even if it does have an error with those chrome side vents. It's definitely still in a class of its own. (Along with the Seagrave, of course!) The Trail Tripper is interesting, but you can tell from it leaning forwards so far in the package that it's very front-heavy. It's still nice to have a new heavy duty dump truck in the range again, and the cab looks to be really detailed. I absolutely love the 2012 Ford Police Interceptor! The design is so simple, realisti, and fantastic looking. I also like the Ford F-150 Raptor. It's obviously a work truck, so it's an obvious choice for a de-construction company. The Pontiac Firebird looks great as always. It's nice to see it has once again received headlight, tail light and grille tampoes again. As for the other models, the Rock Shocker, Cliff Hanger, Jeep Rescue and Coyote 500 especially -I'll pass.

So what do you think? I know everyone will love that Buick and the Firebird, but what about the rest of the models?

mbx64 :D

**Not my pictures. That's why they're so small**

I look at the '56 Buick Century and the old "HIghway Patrol" TV theme plays through my head (yes, I am that old!). Along with the Seagrave fire engine, the Buick is a model I have looked forward to adding to my collection of police cars. The Ford Interceptor also is a winner - as noted it has realistic graphics.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I will require the Buick, Firebird, Taurus, Raptor, Jeep, and even the Rock Shocker's a possibility.

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
I'll be getting all the ones favored above. Feels good to want most of the newer releases, again.

@ Stampede - The Taurus isn't quite a panther Ford . . . can't get too excited about a FWD uni body for a patrol car. It's nice enough but I'll need to see it first before buying.

@MustangJerry - These should be out within the next month or so. MB should start issuing the 2013 line by the end of November I would think since HWs already has 2013 stuff on the pegs.

The Seagrave is becoming a peg warmer in the UK in the shops you can find them, our local supermarket has at least a dozen in the plastic tub.No kiddy wants something so old looking. What on earth were Matchbox thinking of bringing that out for a child and together with an old police car.

They should be fired for wasting money.

And you're mad because you think that Matchbox wasted money making the Seagrave?!?

Have I gone crazy or am I really seeing this!!

Remember these are toys for toddlers that happen to be collected by adults.Myself I will buy the Police car like i did with the Seagrave but for Mattel to sell through to the intended market stop wasting money on old junk to the eyes of a three year old.

The Seagrave should have been a Lesney Edition aimed at a different market together with the old Police car.
