On vacation in August I picked up a Zylmex GMC off road at a flea market which was pretty rough and the cab was not too well done so I also grabbed a Matchbox 75 stepside and combined them.
The cab and base are from the Matchbox and the tub and grille are from the Zylmex. The bow tie was cut from the Matchbox grille and glued back on.
Thanks for looking

Thanks for the comments. Third time lucky with the color. It was beige, then dark blue then this blue. Beige was too plain and dark blue too fancy and modern for the year.

That is too cool! I almost bought a long bed version of that exact year and color of truck years ago but the seller was asking way too much for it. That custom is awesome!

Awesome!!! My father-n-law has a 73 Chevy truck that was used in the film Super 8. It's green on top white in the middle and green on the bottom.
