Found this camper, with broken hitch, at the Hershey auto show Friday, don't see many campers so I got it. Not bad shape other than the hitch.

Always a fun camper from Majorette.

This one has many variations mostly in colour as the tampo design stayed the same.

Considering that the hitch is broken, it is interesting that the door is still there! (That's usually the first thing to go missing.)

Here are some other variations of the casting, which has survived the production move from France to Thailand.

That is a beautiful pair.

I think I have that 'Stang kicking around, however I do not have the trailer in yellow!

I got this one with the Sierra in a lot a few years ago. Does anyone know if this was a two pack or just a coincidence?

My guess would be coincidence. Although anything is possible with Majorette, the two packs usually had the same color paint, when the trailer has paint on it. I remember getting my red-bottom trailer with a red car (I just can't remember which red car at the moment!). My green trailer came with a matching green car, etc.

I think the red trailer came with the red Volvo wagon, green trailer a matching green Mercedes sedan, gold trailer I think came with a Pugeot sedan. If I can remember right. I still have all of mine. Have the blue one too, but cannot remember what car it came with.

My red trailer came with a red Toyota Lite Ace (see thread here: http://swiftysgarage.net/topic/6926616/1/#new) ...I never had a majorette red Volvo wagon as a kid and apparently the red variation of the Lite Ace is not common...

I love the Pinder Circus themed models from Majorette. The larger playsets are effectively impossible to get in the states...pity too.

You have a nice collection of these.
I wish other diecast makers made more trailers/campers..

That is a correct combination for a two-pack.

It's true. No. 325 / year 1990.

I bought mine metalic blue camper with metalic blue VW Golf III, No. 325 / year 1997. Also have a red and yellow models.

I have the white-over-red trailer MOC with the yellow Mustang GT convertible (the same one MACHone1971 showed with the yellow-bottomed trailer).

I think the 'moral' of the story is, as Dean-O-mite said, you get what you get when you get a Majo twin-pack. Mine came out around '91 or '92. (My white/red trailer came with a matching white door.....I notice several photos with yellow doors.....) I also note that the list on the back of the card simply says the #325 twin pack comes with a "sedan + camping trailer". So, ANY sedan would have been appropriate, I guess.

Both of my #317 kayak trailers came with a red Thunderbird (that has the hood propped open with a semi-permanent built-in prop-upper--whatever you'd call that rod/arm that Fords used to hold the hood open--so I guess you could break off the plastic prop so the hood would close, if you chose). The #317 casting name is "Sedan + Canoes".....though over here we call what's on the trailer "Kayaks"....canoes are open along their length, kayaks are only open where you sit inside.

And I have the #372 "Sedan + Week-end trailer" (popup camper with a kayak on top), pulled by a silver Peugeot 206 GTI.
