HW toyota celica mod

just a simple rim change and detail.

work done:
-painted the silver trim around the windows.
-tinted the Tosco headlight covers.
-wheelswap to a tosco looking rim.
-painted the signal lights and tailights.
-painted the chassis black

one thing i noticed is that the scale is smaller than most hotwheels released, and is comparable to most tomica scale (1/59-/162)

I though I was going to see a normal custom Celica without grounded fenders.... :/

Me too, when I can have available that new model of Hotwheels, and also with other Hotwheels recent models with bigger grounded fenders.

Why the obsession from Hotwheels to make that with the cars? the looks gets sort of ruined :angry:

Hot Wheels have always done racers, street rods, custom cars and otherwise modified cars.

I like this, it looks almost like the Celica I did, only with some chrome left. B)
