@craftymore: i used thinned enamel paint, and a very fine brush. just let the thinned paint flow down the lines, and with a cotton bud or toothpick, you can pick out the mistakes. sometimes i use water based ink to wash the lines.

the problem i have with matchbox is they have wide panel lines, HW has thinner panel lines
