Here's another one of the older style JLs with the saggy wheels.. I cut out the old axles and replaced them with a couple of pieces of aluminum tubes. I made some new axles from finish nails and made them fit, by drilling the holes in the wheels larger. Glued everything in place and applied some JB Weld for x-tra support, then stuck it all back together !!! ![]() ![]() ![]() I made the tries and wheels stick out just a hair wider, Looks better. I also added some detail to the rear end !!! ![]() The right corner of the rear bumber was broke off, so, I glued a nail head to it and filed it into shape as the other side. Not perfect, but best I could do !!! |
