I, for one, don't like it. I LOVE it! The B.R.A.T. was long overdue in small scale and this Hot Wheels is a great casting. It was a bit overshadowed since I got it at the same time as the recast of the '82 Supra (and with a personal connection to that particular make, model, & bodystyle I was having fits of happiness already) but I was just as excited to get my hands on this one. I'm going to miss the Hot Ones but it looks like Flying Customs will be the continuation of this series and I'm cool with that as long as they keep the great '80s rides coming!

Kimmo, what are your thoughts on the Hot Ones CRX?

Can't find this or the Caddy! Been roaming a long way from home too. Do you think they will make their way around?

This looks really good. I have wanted a Brat in small-scale since the 1980's, so it is nice to see it finally happening. I was getting my Hot Ones through Milezone, but it seems they aren't getting this release, so I need to source the Brat and Supra (and whatever else came in that wave) from someone or somewhere else. The Brat is a MUST have! And the picture looks mighty fine, Kimmo!

I just read the Brat is the final Hot One and there are so many I haven't got my hands on. Did anyone find any of the following,

73 Torino stocker

Cadillac Seville

Dodge Rampage
Or
Sunagon

I found the Seville at a local collector's shop a few weeks ago. The Sunagon has never shown, or I'd have snagged all I could.

I just checked out a site neu Wheels had cases of the new Flying Customs by the case. Any way they had pics of what will be released in case A. Basically it's more of the same in different colors. I did see what looked like a Vega with either a motor or scoop with wheelie bar. Couldn't really make out what was on the hood cause of glare. There was Dump A, Dodge Arrow FC, Chevy Monza and a few others that are right out of the Hot Ones. Just thought I'd share

Thanks for the heads up.

The Torino, Caddy, and this Brat never showed anywhere around here. Shame, these are in high demand but not many found them. Hopefully they'll be issued in the Flying Colors series in attractive paint schemes.

I got lucky with the B.R.A.T. and the Rampage! jk had just made them available at a Petersen Museum swap meet. Surprisingly, no other collector bought them.

Here is the Rampage:

As for the CRX, I'm okay with it. After all, it is Hot Wheels!

The purple paint, is alright...the gold wheels, I am cool with...even the gold interior is tolerable in my book...but the orange windows??? Gross!

That Rampage looks awesome (and makes me hope they'll retool the 024 Omni too!), and I love the paint scheme!

For those still searching for the last Hot Ones, I got mine via Kiddie Kar. Talk to Joyce- if she's run out she might be able to get more in stock.

Sunagons, Torino stockers, Blazers, Toyota trucks and a few others are well stocked at my Toys R Us if anyone wishes to consider that option (I buy, you pay, I mail, you enjoy).
