Spotted these on the pegs today, decided to pick up.

It was mostly because of this Porsche that I even bothered to look. (Although I was looking for the BMW.)

And a not so bad GT-40.

Although I was looking for the BMW.
You, me and everyone else it seems. I've managed to find the rest of the series, but even when I've found the entire rest of the series hanging on the pegs the M3s have vanished.

Love this Porsche the most.

Which is strange, because I really really don't like racing cars!

I think they are nice but are they worth the price that they going on ebay for? I know they are a Canada only release but it that the only reason they are priced so high? The reason I ask because I wouldn't mind having a complete set but I can't justify the price for what they are asking for them. I do what I normally do and wait it out and see what I can get on the cheap...LOL

I don't think they will go any lower, I've been watching them as I have two of the M3's (one open and one carded) so I've been curious. They dropped to about 20-25 but since then I've held there. The M3 BMW is bringing more than the others I've noticed.

Here are shots of the very nice out of box GT-40.

It is a metallic blue/green, depending on the light.

Beautiful details on this casting as always.

Thats really nice! They look as good as the Vintage Racing Series that we were getting last year. How much are they retailing in Canada? The Vintage Racing Series averaged around $5 U.S. each.

I love the Porsche. I've started seeing some of this series turning up on TTP in the $10-15 range...not counting shipping, so I suppose it is possible the sellers make the difference on the shipping.

Kinda surprised the Bimmer is getting the attention, the Corvette is the star of the set, but I still love the Porsche.

Now those are real gems. That Porsche is just stunning! Very unlucky that we don't get this series in India, although it dosen't matter as they are hard to find anyway. Congrats on finding at least these two!
