hey guys, today i just want to tell you about what happened today. i went Christmas shopping at my local mall and stopped in the TRU express located inside. i got to the hot wheels pegs and on the front of one was a nice AE-86 Corolla. i of course picked it up along with a Gasser and 2 EMS Tahoe's.
when i got to the cash the cashier saw the cars and asked if i was a collector. i said yes and then he told me about how they got an unopened case in this morning and asked me if i wanted to take a look. 10 mins later he guided me to the back and what do you know. the case was missing. but it turns out one of the employees had already put the case out and that's where my corrolla came out of.
he apologized for making me wait and he told me when the next case is coming in. from now on i have first looks at the cases before they hit the pegs :D

Glad you didn't start throwing knives at me for posting that.. :bowing:

I just know that from reading other chatboards in how people are when they collect HWs

I personally can care less as I Collect M2s,,, so my world is small in who collects them as the price usually steers people away :bangles: :1:

Typically those are people who lack inside connections... somehow that sounds like folks in wheelchairs complaining that some of us can walk. They're entitled to have an opinion, but that doesn't make it worth considering when deciding your own behaviours.

Congrats on the hachiroku. Please find them before I do, I can't stop myself from buying them when I see them and... 16 is enough.

My local dealer buys a few cases regularly, and that works even better than having an "inside source", especially since he charges $1, not $1.39-$1.99, at least for mainlines. The nicer series I'm still on my own.

thats awesome! there was a hobby shop that stocked them for $1 and one that stocked them for $3 but those types of stores are always opening and closing due to lack of business, unless your store has a good trusted name to it like the hornet hobbies near me.

It's actually just a guy who sells at the Flea Market. If you know where the 400 Market is and go to it, you can find him there on weekends.

Nice! Hopefully I can get a look at the MB's before they hit the shelves at WM. I don't think they would believe me though.
