From a old picture I took earlier (I know, I know, it sucks, but;)

This 1/43 Camry was bought in China; pretty typical premium 1/43 car, with well-casted details.

It's a Camry 240 V, which is much rarer in China than the 240 G (tho it might be because that some 240Vs, despite the name, are V6-equipped, which means they are more "exclusive" than the regular Camry; keep in mind that the base price of a Chinese Camry is about $34,000 USD and goes up to $44,000 USD. Let's not talk about the taxes and fees, cuz' otherwise you might as well be buying a new Corvette in America for the price.)

Can't figure out the brand (the base says "Guangzhou Toyota Corp", like most promo cars.) Someone told me Kyosho made this one, but I'm pretty uncertain on that one.

I'm not a big fan of any Camry after they quit making coupes and wagons, yet I still like this casting.

Could be a Hongwell, but it looks way better built and more detailed than my Alfa Romeo Brera by them that's my only surviving 1/43 Hongwell...

Definitely isn't a Hongwell (much better detailing and stuff.) It's a $50 casting, so it's definitely not a "low-cost" brand...hmm.

I would not know what brand it is but it is very detailed down to the door handles. I know it can't be Kinsmart. The detail from the one picture is definitely not a cheap brand. Just wish you had more pics of the car especially the bottom if you wanted to figure out the brand of the diecast. There might be a identifying mark on the base or something.

Its a nice car but I have never been a big fan of the modern cars from Toyota. Now, if was painted black, slammed to the ground with minir ground effects added to the front and rear and sportier rims then you would have my complete attention.....LOL I am talking about clean race version and not some street kids tuner version either.

By the way that pic is great. Its focused and its in a good light. I would like to see more of your collection.

I collect the Chinese dealer promos in 1/18, and most are made specifically for the car manufacturer, and no brand identification is made anywhere. Are they made by a known diecast company? Or an unnamed company that only makes these promos as contracted by Toyota, Honda, etc.? We may never know. The 1/43 and 1/24 dealership promos are in the same boat.

Supposedly, the 1/18 Cadillac CTS and SRX are made by Kyosho, for the Chinese Cadillac dealers, but I am not sure if that is a proven fact, or if the Kyosho name is just attached to them to try and draw in more collector appeal to them. There is a company named Paudi Model which makes a few Chinese dealer promos, including the Infiniti FX45, and they have a website showing the models they have made. I don't think Paudi Model has made any mass retail diecast.

The problem is, the Paudi Model site is completely written in crappy Engrish and some of their models say "Made by *automaker* license reserved"

From what I remember in some Chinese store, I DID see a AutoArt logo on the box of a Mazda6 promo. Not 100% sure though...

Took the thing apart and took a few photos. This might be helpful in identification.

If this is a Paul's Model Art (Minichamps) or AutoArt, it's a low rent version. Maybe it's just my phone, but the body panel lines and paint do not look very good. Also, the badges on the back look like globs of glue. All of my Minichamps and AutoArts have tampo stamped badges that are crystal clear. The thick cylinders protruding from the back of the wheels are also uncharacteristic of nicer 1/43s.

The rear badges are some form of photoetch that is poorly applied. The paint is a super-metallic silver, and from another ebay listing of the same car but in black, it seems like other colors of this car doesn't have that problem.

It would be highly unusual to see any of the top big brands sell for that little as well. This one will be tough for sure. The price and look of it line up fairly closely with a couple of 10 year old Maistos I've got.

Reminds me of Kyosho or J-Collection ... I'll ask friend who collects dealer models. Maybe he'll have some idea.
