Excellent work! The black really makes the cars pop! Good idea with the signature too. I have seen a lot of my stuff in a Google search. Pics can be altered even with a watermark or sig I would imagine. |

Another set of awesome pictures. Your camera is really great to be able to get a white car on a black background, and not turn the car into a washed out blob. I can't get door lines to show up with anything but a very light colored background. I am envious of these pictures! I love how they look. |

Dean-o-mite - I'm more than willing to help you try and get things sorted out. It's all about the lighting. The image quality wouldn't be identical but most likely I would be able to obtain a very similar shot with a point and shoot camera. What camera are you shooting with? What does your studio setup consist of? |

Man I have tried this and I'm unable to duplicate what you have done. I did buy a granite black tile but it has specks in it. Even if I did get a black pure black tile I still don't know how you keep your reflection out of the photos? You got me. I wish I knew the secret.

I used two lamps one on each side and sometimes I add more with a flashlight. My camera is Nikon Coolpix L810. |

Take a look at this link. Don't pay too close of attention to the equipment - examine the theory. This can be easily replicated most likely with the equipment you already have. http://www.photoflex.com/pls/product-photography-with-starlite-digital-kits |

What kind of base are you shooting on? Are you trying to duplicate the black base pics? If so, I used a piece of black acrylic. If you can find a black tile, you should be able to get similar results. A piece of plexiglass over black paper may work as well. I've tried that method before but didn't have the best of luck. I've never been a fan of 'unrealistic' shots but I've got to broaden my horizons sometime. Here's a new one. No black base - just having fun.
