Glad you and yours had a nice meal, Wes... I might pick something up at Kelly's Cajun Grill inside the big mall here since today is Mardi Gras.

I've been slightly under the weather, experiencing a lot of stress in my personal life, working on taking legal action against my county case management for rights violations and abuse (my future planner is someone recommended through my shrink and therapist, not county) before taking on full federal disability (if I'm not approved, I have sources to help me with it) and opening an eBay Store as side venture that won't make enough to make me lose my disability, and I have been doing lots of diecast hunting, albeit largely unsuccessful. Going out again today, twice, once to Shopko for new castings and again to St. Vincent DePaul for used ones.

New for this week, got back together with my ex, been on a serious atari 8 bit hunt last 2 weeks with a chance to clean out and buy a very rare group of games for a fraction of the cost.

Severe headaches, incredible anxiety and paranoia, body heat regulation issues, but I'm trying to put together a plan for visiting the Oregon Coast again this spring, and my car just needs a water pump instead of a heater core or new engine.

Last year's trip was in Florence with my ex-GF, this year I'm going it alone and probably to Newport and Depoe Bay, but will have more time to do whatever I want, which'll include the aquarium, the artists' colony at Aquarium Village, maybe some abandoned buildings in Newport, then going to Depoe Bay to see the shops, hopefully buy stuff, photographing some fishing boats (possibly sea lions on the rocks), having a nice meal at one of the restaurants there and driving home.

Just signed a new contract at work, contract states
If I Decide to quit i need to give the company 6 months notice, the other end of the spectrum also is if my job is terminated they need to give me 6 months, or an equal 6 months of pay if they no longer require me within the 6 months, with this i also got a raise. All this makes James very happy, that 1. The need me! 2. I got a raise.
I wish i could go more into detail but it is a long 3 page contract with lots of words.

I also got a box of slightly used car care products from a local email type recycling program called " Kingston Free-cycle" which instead of disposing of products you offer it for free the only stipulation is that it needs to be FREE.

My daughter lost her 2nd tooth yesterday and of course it's the front tooth! lol

Congrats on your new contract. JC.

Today is around my 60th day without a shave. Yes i am
putting some hair on . About two inches so far. So i have
been looking around for some beard growing advice.
I found a beard growing/care forum with alot of info.
Beard Board at www.beardboard.com. One of my
daily medication promotes hair growth. "Minoxidil",
is what i take, twice daily for blood pressure. I am
getting comments from friends and family. Like,
warewolf, bear, cave man , and professor. I like my
beard so i am going to let it grow. B)

Had a lovely dinner with a lovely lady tonight and ended up talking for 3 1/2 hours without noticing we had spent that much time...I'm optimistic, but I've been here before with some weird results...

Congrats to James on his new contract, Roachmobkiller on his beard and Robbie on his dinner date.

I've had possible symptoms of lupus appear over the past couple days, along with the headaches and short-term memory issues that have been present for the past few months, all of this and more are increasingly concerning me, I will be making a doctor's appointment if this persists into the next couple days.

It will not stop me from using the Garage (most likely from bed, my couch or my recliner) and diecast-hunting when I feel up to it.

Found myself dizzy and in moderate pain on my diecast trip, will end up going to the grocery store accompanied by someone who can help me if I need it, and will rest up once I'm home, intending to see if it's persisting into tomorrow, and try to make a doctor's appointment as soon as I can get one.

GCU--sorry to hear you've been a bit under the weather. I'm thinking the weird "weather" this year probably has a lot to do with it. So many viruses going around, and even those who got flu shots don't seem to be immune.

Here, we've gone from freezing to 60s, sunny to snow/rain. And speaking from a perspective of someone who has some neck and back troubles due to injuries, my sitting at my computer to long, exerting myself at almost anything, or many days just getting up in the morning with a change in the weather has made me very achey, or more than a little dizzy some days. This is pretty much par for the course with me when the weather changes--worst in the summer and winter when temps rise and drop sharply. There's always an adjustment period. This year, there seems to be no settling it because the weather patterns just won't stabilize for very long.

Can those atmospheric ups and downs effect mood? Oh, yeah! Especially when your body can't stabilize itself for more than a week, and most weeks lately, we've had the weather go to a different extreme every 2-3 days.

Even those without injuries, who may be feeling the effects more subtly, can't go through all the changes without most getting sick this year. And GCU, since you've mentioned existing conditions that can easily effect your mood at times, I'm betting this is largely what has been throwing you off as well.

The good news is, in another 4-6 weeks, winter will be over. Best we can do is hunker down and try to make the best of it, knowing it won't last too much longer. I just hope we don't have one of those quick-change summers where it gets too hot too fast, or that'll throw us off for a while longer...LOL! Especially those of us with pre-existing conditions

Terence, hope your fire trucks arrive soon. Every time I see a Bluesmobile, police car, ambulance, fire chief car or fire truck diecast in a store, I think of you. (and yes, I think of Dean and Daniel60 when I see a diecast Bluesmobile, police car, SWAT van or paddy wagon too) :)

I'm doing another gig working on cleaning up barn-found inventory for my diecast dealer later today. I have been wearing really socially inappropriate (language and imagery) T-shirts lately, so I'm going to tone things down a bit today.

If you are looking for some new "bonafide" friends, I always suggest that people try attending a nearby friendly church which has special activities for "College and Carreer" and other groups for ages beyond the young carreer types.
That is how I met my wife 45 years ago while attending a C+C picnic sponsored by a large nearby church . It works!

This isn't nearly as much of an option for the non-believers amongst us though.

Awesome, Terence!

I put in an order to my dealer for a 1/18 Welly Peugeot 206CC and traded a pristine Tom Daniels Bad News II 1/18 by JL for a 1/18 Welly Opel Speedster that's being ordered together with the Peugeot. I found out that the one young lady I had been talking to at the Goodwill store I get a lot of diecast at was married, despite how much it seemed she liked me, and I noticed that she had a small baby bump going too. :(

Not many folks appreciate me IRL, and this is one less person who does. I'm hoping to meet up and have a good long-term relationship with someone who is from San Diego, Taos or Albuquerque and wants to move back there, those are the places I'm looking to move to... I would move with them and we could use one U-Haul, or if I get the Renault 4CV or malaise French or Japanese car project I want to get and I buy the '71 Ford F250 I looked at today, we could use those to move with. Fill the truck bed, and fill the project car too...

Finally working for a better agency and getting 40+ hours a week. Took us a long time to dig out of the hole the last group put us in by only giving me 4-6 hours a week for 6 month while also trying to find a new job. As of last week we are out of dept except for the basic monthy bills that come in ex. utilities and car payment-insurance. Now I can start back in the hobby and buy cars again.

Today is also our youngest's 8th birthday we were able to find a box set of KISS cds and a bwf Cuda from Greenlight for her, wow time flies I still remember bringing her and her sister home like it was yesterday. :(

Also hopping to take some time this summer and to some weekend trips and see some people and take the girls camping.
