My neighbor was cleaning out a barn and figured that since I collect Hot Wheels, I might want this. I didn't bother to clean it up yet. I though it kind of looked like it belonged this way, hence the picture 'Barn Find'.

We had a little snow this week but starting tomorrow around 6am, we are supposed to get hit with an ice storm followed up by 2"-7" of snow. We've had mild winters recently so I guess it's time to make up for it. My driveway is over 400 feet long. It gets old real quick... LOL |

OMG, your achin' back. I wish you best of luck---hit it before it gets too deep. Better to do it twice or three times than one time at 7 inches!!! |

Hmmm, I never found any neat little Hot Wheels cars when I cleaned out the barn. Horse muffins, yes...but little cars no.

Nice find! That looks great! BTW, great idea with the snow blower. Unfortunately here on the west coast, we don't get a lot of snow. |

All I do to my cars is soap and water. I don't fix the paint or wheels or nothing. But I don't leave dirt on mine...or spiders. lol Gets the rest of my collection dirty. But how did he find this car? Was it on a shelf or in the dirt or what? Amazed the windscreen survived! |

I've got no idea how he found it. My guess is that it was on a shelf. Eventually I'll clean it - I use the same method as you do. Right now, it is sitting on top of my cabinet. The stuff I have on 'display' is behind glass. |

As a tip, what I do is to put my cars under a space heater. I leave them under there until they are hot to touch. Doing it this way, ensures you won't have rusted axles by the next day. I've never had any tampos or paint come off in the 200-something cars I have washed, unless it was already flaking off to begin with. You folks would probably strangle me over this, but I do this with my 1968 redlines as well. But they are not mint to begin with anyways. Doesn't hurt them one bit.
