There are differences between the Malaysia and Thailand castings with the engine detail a bit different on the bases.

:thumbup: Nice It looks like the Coupe is a slight bit shorter than the ragtop, but nice pair overall, Maybe Mattel will make some of the Coupes in the Convertible colors...Red Coupe to go with the vert?

I'm pretty certain the Coupe and the droptop are two completely different castings. The droptop has been in the line for many years, since the early 80s I believe. The first Coupe I recall was the Classics series in '05 or so, but it might have been a (very) few years earlier. A lot of the Classics series was made in Thailand, I'm not sure why...when most are cast in Malaysia or China and have been for many years now.

It's a bit dated now, but this is my favorite so far. A pretty HTF set car with screamer wheels...
