Oh yeah...the grand experiment in 2004...that mostly backfired. I wanted to like these but it didn't happen. The only one I "like" enough to have multiple copies is the Speed Bump Tucker.

The front fenders are cool though, might make some spares for a custom project.

Yes, the grand experiment that turned many "completists" into "I'll buy just what I like". I only liked 6 of the Hot 100 that year.

Support your local demo derby.

I must have passed on this back in the day. Was this suppose to represent a '62 Ford or some other 30s rod.

Dunno about the '62 Ford part, I think it's a squashed 31-32...emphasis on the "squashed." It looked good on paper but didn't translate well at all...in my opinion.

But it was one of the computer generated radical designs they were trying out to wrest some of the competition from Muscle Machines back. JL had Zingers that were doing well enough, so HW decided to do the MM style stuff (several of which are still in the line, BTW), and beat MM to the punch on some other "cartoon" styles...not expecting the buying public to realize that most of them, even as cartoons, just weren't eye catching. They looked like what they are...computer manipulations, en masse. It backfired. B)
