Today's car of the day is from mentalpower’s collection, and is B.M.G. Barlux's 1970 BRM P153 race car.

The BRM P153 was a Formula One racing car which raced in the 1970, 1971 and 1972 Formula One seasons. It was powered by a 3.0 liter V12 engine. Its best result was a victory at the 1970 Belgian Grand Prix, with Pedro Rodriguez over March of Chris Amon for just 1.1 seconds and with an incredible average speed of 157.176 mph (252.951 Km/h), the highest record in the history of F1.

I just recently acquired one of these Barlux racers in a lot I won. Something different for the collection. Pretty neat to see the packaging and to learn of the different variations.

Even I have never before heard of this brand. I'm not a big Formula 1 fan, but for the novelty of yet another toy brand, I would add this one to the collection.
