The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car.[1] Introduced early on April 17, 1964,[2] and thus dubbed as a "1964½" model by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The Mustang has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation.

Originally designed by Sid Ramnarace in late 2001 and finished in mid-2002, the fifth-generation Mustang's design was previewed by two preproduction concept cars that first debuted at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. Since its introduction, there have been several variants of the fifth-generation Ford Mustang that include the Mustang GT/California Special, Shelby Mustang, Bullitt Mustang, and Boss 302 Mustang.

Engines were revised for 2011, and transmission options included the Getrag-Ford MT82 6-speed manual or the 6R80 6-speed automatic based on the ZF 6HP26 transmission licensed for production by Ford. Electric power steering replaced the conventional hydraulic version. A new 3.72 L (227 cu. in.) aluminum block V6 engine weighed 40 lb (18 kg) less than the previous version. With 24 valves and Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (TiVCT), it produced 305 hp (227 kW; 309 PS) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque. The 3.7 L engine came with a new dual exhaust; gas mileage increased to 19 city/31 highway mpg.[1]. GT models included a 32-valve 5.0 L engine (4951cc or 302.13 cu. in.) (also referred to as the "Coyote". Brembo brakes are optional along with 19-inch wheels and performance tires.

Pep Boys released an exclusive three pack in 2012 that featured a '12 Camaro, '12 Challenger and this Mustang. The painted rims look a bit different on a modern era muscle car.

I have to agree with this.

I think it looked better in the package.

Yep, not appealing to me either. Its more the wheel color than the graphics for me.
