Today's car is the the 1963 Plymouth Belvdere 426 Max Wedge by Hot Wheels.

The Plymouth Belvedere is an American automobile model which was produced by Plymouth from 1954 to 1970.

American car buyers at the time were in the thought mode of "Bigger is Better," and sales of these models suffered. On June 1, 1963 the Max Wedge block grew to 426 cubic inches, thanks to a larger 4.25" bore. These were referred to as the Stage II engines. Again, many special parts were used. In addition, Chrysler began producing special bodies which would complement these engines, using aluminum front ends, trunk-mounted batteries, hood scoops and other lightweight parts. By this time Mopars virtually owned the Super Stock classes in the NHRA, and the introduction of the Stage IIs gave NASCAR racers more top-end power to be competitive. From a technical perspective, the Stage II motors were significant because they opened up the science of cylinder-head air flow engineering. The end result of this science would be the rebirth of the Hemi®.

In 1963 if you wanted to go in a straight line and do so very fast, this was your car. The Mopars dominated drag racing due in large part to the continued advancements of their big block V-8s.

I have been around quite a few of the real 1:1 cars and still say the C pillar sail looks off.

Other than that I agree with Wes, they were plain and uninspiring, but if one rolled up in the drag lane beside you, you had better hope you had one too or something better.

I think you're right, but I'll give that flaw a pass because the rest looks pretty good.
