Hey guys, I haven't posted here in awhile (lots of other distractions get in the way) but here's a comparison of 1971 'Cudas. M2 vs. Greenlight vs. HW Front view. M2-Greenlight-HW (I inked in the front grill on the HW) ![]() Rear view. HW-Greenlight-M2 ![]() Top view. M2-Greenlight-HW ![]() M2 ![]() Greenlight ![]() Hot Wheels mainline ![]() In terms of detail, the M2 wins. However, it seems to be slightly overscale. The rear spoiler a bit big as well. The GL is very nice but it suffers from having the steamroller wheels and a hood that doesn't quite close flush. Obviously, the HW comes in way behind but it's actually quite nice for a mainline. It has a slammed down restomod-ish look to it that I kinda like. One difference I noticed between the 3 is that the A-pillar on the M2 and HW markedly slants inward when viewed from the front, whereas on the GL it does not. I'm not sure which is actually more correct. Edited by Vifam7, Jul 24 2013, 10:09 PM.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

Great comparison pics! I agree the M2 comes out on top, but I also agree it's too big. |

Thanks for the comparison! I'd have to go with the Greenlight on this one. |

I have to go with GL as well. It's like they just have a special charm that draws me to them. The GL casting looks to have better proportions than the M2 as well. |

I have to say the GL takes my vote also. The M2 does not look right and the opening doors is hurting the casting and the HWs never did make it in my collection. |

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking.. The M2 doesn't look right at all. Maybe it's the pictures, I dunno. But GL gets my vote! |

remember the Greenlight and M2 are 5$ castiings the HW 1$, so the HW should get some points for being being a great castings at an affordable price.... |
